Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnell are currently working with a 'Good' School in the Rotherham area, who are currenlty striving for an 'Outstanding' status. They are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support them in their Early Years setting. We are able to offer full or part time roles, to fit around you and your existing commitments.

We are currently seeking a CACHE L3, or Early Years Qualified Teaching Assistant to work in an Early Years setting. When working in the Early Years, you will be expected to observe and monitor children using Tapestry or Ipads to review if children are meeting their Early Years goals. You may be expected to work 1:1 or in small groups to support the class teacher. Some experience working to support Speech and Language and delivering interventions would be beneficial, as there is a high intake of EAL students within the school. You may be expected to work in the 2 year old room, which could involve aspects of personal care, such as nappy changing. If you have experience working in a Nursery or with young children, this could be the role for you.

Our Ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children with from 2 years old
• Speech and Language training or willing to undergo additional training
• Additional training to support the role
• Knowledge of EYFS assessment methods (Tapestry)
• CACHE L3 or Early Years Training
