An exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within a modern secondary school which are seeing a passionate individual to support the teaching and learning of young people across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Teaching Assistant – Full time, Salford.
  • Commencing September 2020 until the end of the new academic year
  • Supporting the learning of  pupils in small classroom groups
  • Assisting class teachers with lesson preparation
  • Earn up to GBP65 per day

As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to join a welcoming team of teachers and support staff, within a modern secondary school located in Salford.  The roles and responsibilities for the incoming candidate will include supporting the learning of young people aged 11 to 16 who are struggling with concentration and work set in class. As a result, the ideal candidate for the role will be of a patient nature, confident and adaptable with their approach to learning to meet the needs of pupils with a wide spectrum of learning needs and

The school is located just off the M602/A580 outside of Salford town centre, close to Worsley and can be reached from areas of Salford and Bolton also. The school offers secure onsite parking and has state of the art resources within modern facilities. The school can also be accessed via local public transport links across Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
