Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant for our client school based in Newton Aycliffe to support a Year 3 Class.

The position is due to begin in January 2020 and is to cover 3 days a week for two terms with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The School, which has recently been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted is based in Newton Aycliffe and boasts excellent links to local transport with free parking on site. The placement is Part Time and aimed to bring in a member of staff that will complement their excellent team.

Teaching Personnel are passionate about providing the very best education that we can for every child as well as raising staff standards in schools. They have high expectations of the children and plan lessons that will ensure that pupils are inspired, enjoy their learning, experience challenge and success and achieve highly.

Essentials to apply:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (must have a valid Visa)
  • Valid DBS which will be on the update service
