Job Vacancy: Secondary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Monmouth, Wales
Pay: £77 per day (6.5 hours) Monday - Friday
Start date: September 2023

We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-respected secondary school in Monmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of students in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide essential support to students in various subjects and classroom settings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
- Contributing to the planning and preparation of teaching materials.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Supporting students with special educational needs or individualized education plans.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
- Assisting in classroom management and behavior reinforcement.
- Collaborating with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- GCSE in Eglish and Maths
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and able to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
