Teaching Assistant
A Mainstream Primary School in Liverpool, Walton, are searching for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils in both KS1 and KS2 to provide catch up learning and support. With pupil's having missed out on months of being in a classroom environement, schools are now hoping to employ additional members of staff to work with children in order to help them catch up on their learning. The role will entail working in classroom environments, group environments and on a 1-1 bases with pupils. You will support pupil's with Maths, English, Science and anything additional they may have fallen behind on.
Ideally you will have experience working in a classroom environment previously, or experience working or volunteering with children
The Role:
- Full time, Monday - Friday
- Hours approximately: 8:30am - 3:30pm
- GBP10 - GBP11 Per hour

The tasks which a 1-1 Learning Support Assistant carries out can include:
- Preparing materials, equipment and lessons
- Assessing the individual learning needs of the pupil
- Evaluating and reporting pupils’ progress to teachers, carers, healthcare professionals and anybody else who helps them
- Supervising activities such as trips locally.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
