The position is to work mornings only at this moment in time with the opportunity to also becoming part of the welfare team during the lunch hour, if this is something that you would be interested in. The role will continue until the end of the academic year and the contract is initially temporary with the potential to becoming permanent.
The school was recently inspected by Ofsted and received ‘Good’ and had ‘Good’ in the previous inspection. The school has a hardworking and dedicated team which the Head Teacher is thoroughly proud of, and he says the staff are ‘the cogs that make the school run like clockwork’. The school is located in Blackburn BB2 and the majority of the children come from White British backgrounds. The Head Teacher has stressed that even though the school can be ‘challenging at times with regards to behaviour’ it is equally ‘rewarding’ with ‘plenty of aspects to progress within your career’
