Starting in September, a vibrant and supportive mainstream secondary school located in Bolton are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time temporary basis.
The SENCO and pastoral team are looking for a passionate, patient and dynamic individual for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant who can support a group of identified pupils aged 11-16 with mild to moderate SEN including; Autism, Dyslexia and ADHD. The pupils will require extra support with lesson engagement, reading/writing and understanding the current scheme of work which the school will advise you on.
Highlights of the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
- Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant
- Starting September 2020 - likely to be required until July 2021
- Earning GBP1300 a month, paid weekly
- Delivering tailored learning activities to a group of identified pupils with a range of SEN
- Working at a supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Bolton, close to Kearsley and Farnworth.
- Previous experience with SEN and young people is very desirable
- Exclusive access to a range of CPD courses including; SEND sessions, Autism Awareness and more!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
