We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools located in Plymouth. This school caters to a diverse range of severe and complex learning needs and is committed to providing a nurturing and child-centered environment to help every student thrive.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons and engaging activities.
  • Providing support to students both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
  • Creating a safe and stimulating learning environment where all students can achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience working with SEN children either in a school or care setting.
  • A calm and positive demeanor, with a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with both students and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
