Job Type: Full time

Rate of pay: GBP9.50-GBP10.50 per hour

Start date: Tuesday 2nd December 2019

End date: July 2020

The SENCo of a Primary School in PRESTON is looking to secure a full time teaching assistant to provide general class support within the Year 4 class. This is a full time role to begin from December 2019 for the remainder of the academic year - potentially longer. This Primary School is currently graded 'GOOD' in their most recent OFSTED; the school have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The SENCo has commented  how the staff are dedicated to the progression the pupils socially, emotionally and academically.

The SENco has described that she is interested in appointing a qualified Teaching Assistant (level 2+) for this position. The school require the applying candidates to have relevant experience working in a Key Stage 2 class room setting. The successful candidate must be able to follow the teachers plan and differentiate work to suit pupils with varying needs, create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment and form good relationships with children, parents/carers and staff. You would be expected to work closely alongside the Year 4 Class teacher and support the schools vision and ethos.
