Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a school in Salisbury who cater for young people between the ages of 4-19. This SEN school are equipped to deal with a wide range of Special Educational Needs including:

  • Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
  • Low-functioning Autism
  • Complex Learning Difficulties

Who are we looking for?

Someone who is committed to active, creative, reflective learning, maximised by encouragement to each individual pupil to achieve their best in every aspect of their development. A person who can celebrate innovation and is committed to nurturing high self- esteem and respect for others and can encourage this within the school setting by asking questions, solving problems and making thoughtful decisions. 

As the needs of the students are so complex, it is essential you have experience working in a school setting with experience supporting students with special needs. As a high number of students have Autism (ASC), it would be beneficial for you to have a good understanding of this.

We are able to consider candidates with full time, part time and flexible availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
