Due to high demand and our increasing popularity in the Wiltshire area, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and confident Teaching Assistants (TA’s) to work on a supply basis in our client SEN school in Salisbury.

This Special Educational Needs School is a day community school for children with:

  • Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
  • Low-functioning Autism
  • Complex Learning Difficulties
  • Autism
  • Physical Difficulties
  • Medical Needs
  • Sensory Loss

We are currently looking for candidates that can work on a flexible basis to support this school so whether you are looking 1 day a week or 5 days a week, we will have something to suit you.

As a Teaching Assistant at this specialist school, you will:

  • Be supporting classes of between 4 and 12 students according to their needs
  • Follow a carefully adapted curriculum to suit each students needs
  • Be able to support students in a bespoke building with facilities such as; Hydrotherapy, soft play, sensory room a gym and Forest School

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you have experience working in a classroom environment or supporting individuals with special needs.

It would be beneficial for you to have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Please call into the branch to find out more information.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
