Teaching Personnel are looking for a dynamic and innovative Teaching Assistant to to support a school based in Brighton. You will have to have the resilience and ability to work as part of a small team dedicated to supporting young people with SEMH to help overcome their barriers to learning and instil the skills that they need to succeed.
You will need to be:
- Flexible and able to travel across sites
- Supportive to learners
- Adaptable to changing classroom climates
- Able to effectively manage challenging behaviour
Candidates that are traditionally suited to these roles will be confident or have experience in a number of the following:
- Criminology
- Youth/Community work experience
- SEN experience
- Residential support/care worker
- Sports coaching
- Youth Offending Services
- Challenging behaviour within family
- Mentoring
- Psychology

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
