KS2 Teaching Assistant.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to fill a full time role in the summer term in central Cambridge. You will be working across KS1+KS2 therefore previous work experience within a primary school setting would be extremely beneficial.

This role would be ideally suited to an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new an exiting full time role- alternatively it would also be suited to a young educational professional looking to gain more experience within a primary environment.

The role would include but may not be limited to:

- Assisting the teacher setting up the daily resources for the class 

- Monitoring the behaviour and progress of the pupils and reporting this back to the teacher on a daily basis

- Offering support to various year groups across the KS1-KS2 age ranges

- Offering support to pupils with SEN sometimes on a 1:1 basis- experience in care/SEN would be hugely beneficial 

- Ensuring the vision and values of the school are kept to at all times

The ideal candidate:

-Experienced Teaching assistant - with knowledge of UK curriculum

- SEN experience (In or out of an educational setting) 

- Safeguarding training

-Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis 

-Uk adress and right to work

-Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (we can help with this)

- Motivated and hard working 

-PAssionate about primary education
