Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking a new experiences?

Teaching Personnel are working with a primary SEN School in Poole, seeking a 1-1 TA to work with a pupil in Key Stage 2.

Excellent opportunity for less experienced TA's or Low confidence TA's in large classes.

The school is a primary setting catering for pupils with behaviour needs, including ADHD, Autism and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health). The school has very small class sizes (of around 6-8 pupils) and has a high level of support staff. The pupils can display challenging behaviour.

We are looking for a 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support individual pupils in KS2. You will be supporting the pupil both inside and outside of the classroom.

The be successful in this role you should:

  • have experience working within a primary school setting or experience in 1-1 supervision
  • be enthusiastic about supporting pupils with SEN
  • be resilient, creative and professional but fun
  • have good behaviour management and flexibility with practical/theory tasks

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
