Teaching Personnel are seeking Teaching Assistants to work in a "Good" rated SEN school in the NG9 area of Nottingham with children who present with a variety of disabilities.
The school promote business activity amongst students and have their own tuck shop where they teach students how to run their own business effectively amongst other engagement with the community.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:-
- Flexible to adapt to a challenging, busy environment.
- Be experienced managing challenging behaviour on a regular basis and able to diffuse this so the student does not disrupt the rest of the class.
- Be willing to support across a variety of subject areas including Maths and Science.
- Have at least 1 year's experience working either with challenging young people in residential, youth work or school settings.
- Have experience with ASC, ADHD and SLD.
