Teaching Assistant
Pay: GBP 66-80 a day – weekly pay via PAYE with no umbrella fees
Location – North Bristol
Hours – Full-time Mon-Fri 8:30am-3pm
Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a client secondary school in North Bristol for a full-time teaching assistant to start in September.
The main duties of the role will be supporting the class teachers, including helping maintain behavioural standards and providing academic support to students struggling with work.
You will also be expected to provide dedicated 1:1 intervention support for students who may be struggling academically, both in lesson and outside of lesson times. Therefore you must be confident and patient. The school are looking for engaging and energetic new staff to support their students.
Experience supporting SEN children, particularly those with ASC, ADHD or SEMH is extremely beneficial, and the school would highly value that.
Additional funding is expected therefore it is likely you will receive an opportunity for the role to become a permanent role if you thrive in the position.

Teaching Assistants must have the right to work within the UK and the ability to provide two references from their most recent employers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
