Teaching Assistant

The head teacher of a primary school in the Longwell Green area is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 3. This is a small two-form entry school that is highly praised by the staff for creating a positive and nurturing working environment. This is a part-time position to work 5 mornings with the opportunity to gain more hours with some additional afternoons. This child is really lovely with no behaviour issues but has ADHD and global developmental delay and is working at an EYFS level. This child needs support throughout the day predominantly with staying focussed with the tasks set and to be supported academically.  
  
The ideal candidate:
• Experience working with the EYFS/KS1 curriculum
• Is able to adopt a creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
• Has the ability to challenge, engage and motivate children.
• Can form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Is confident in supporting pupils academically
