Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel has been contacted by a school in Wimborne who is in need of a SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience working with people with Autism. The role will be a 1:1 support role to support a student throughout the school day.

The school caters for 4-18 year olds who have special educational needs, including MLD and ASC. 

The successful candidate must be able to build rapport with harder to reach students and be able to differentiate work to suit their individual needs. Therefore, the candidate must be confident, innovative and tentative to the needs of the student that they are working with..

The pay for this role is GBP10 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
