Do you have experience supporting those with SEN and Learning Difficulties?

Are you looking to use your skills and experience in a school environment?

Teaching Personnel are working with a Special Educational Needs School in Cranleigh that are currently looking for numerous Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. The school caters for Primary, Secondary and Post 16 pupils, all of which will have an Education Health Care Plan. The pupils have a variety needs such as:

  • Autism
  • Asperger's Syndrome
  • Moderate Learning Disabilities
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities
  • Specific Learning Difficulties
  • Hearing Impairment
  • Visually Impairment
  • ADHD
  • Severe Learning Disabilities

The majority of the current vacancies are for full time long term temporary or permanent positions supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

Candidates are required to work 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate would have some of the following:

  • Teaching Assistant experience
  • Experience working with SEN
  • Youth support work experience
  • A Psychology qualification
  • Experience working in a nursery
  • Personal experience with SEN
  • Care work experience
  • Experience as a nanny or au pair
  • Residential support work experience
  • Outreach work experience
