SEN Teaching Assistant
Summary:- SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support children with additional learning needs
- Assist the classroom teacher with the planning, implementation and evaluation of pupils educational plans
- To demonstrate the ability of working with children with disabilities
- Provide social and emotional support when needed
- GBP10.20 per hour
- Full Time position – September 2021 Start
Job Description:- SEN Teaching Assistant
You will be part of the Special Needs Resources Base team as part of this role and you will be expected to support children with additional learning needs and assist the classroom teacher with the planning, implementation and evaluation of pupils’ educational plans. You will also need to help the pupils understand instructions, given by the classroom teacher, through repetition, re-phrasing or demonstrating. You will need to work autonomously as part of a team within a range of settings and support the teacher with the deliverance of the national curriculum through planned lessons and activities.

- To demonstrate the ability to work with children with disabilities
- Obtain the ability to be proactive in situation that can be challenging
- To be very engaging and be light hearted in difficult times
- Demonstrate a positive and patient attitude
- Enhanced child DBS, you will be assisted with this upon application
- Provide 2 x references
