WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED TEACHING ASSISTANT FOR A SCHOOL IN THE BLACKHEATH AREA
Teaching Personnel are representing a Blackheath school who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a September start. This role will initially run until the end of the term with the potential to be made permanent for the right person.
The school itself has a very experienced leadership team and teaching staff so you can be confident that you will be moving into a role with lots of support.
Located around the corner from Greenwich Park and walking distance from Blackheath station you could not ask for a better location.
Your day-to-day duties will consist of:
- Supporting the classroom teacher with lessons
- Run activities with small groups of pupils
- Assist with reading and maths interventions
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Valid DBS check
- At least six months of experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience working with pupils who have ASD
- Have a passion for working with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
