Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school in Bridport, that provides an inclusive education for all pupils and ensure that every child reaches their full potential by the time they leave in Year 6. The role is full time and will be ongoing from April 2021 with the opportunity for the candidate to accept a permanent role directly with the school after a successful internal interview.
The pupils come from a differing and often disadvantaged and deprived backgrounds or maybe Looked After (or in foster care). The pupils have the potential to really succeed in their early education but are currently disengaged within lessons and general day to day school routines. We are looking for someone who can make a real difference and that can manage difficult conversations and behaviour well and someone who possesses a resilient and calming nature. You will have a duty to ensure that children access the national curriculum as fully as possible and can provide pupils tailored support in a small groups or 1:1 settings to help them to achieve their personal, social and academic goals.
