Due to a restructuring of department we are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join a large secondary school in the Rochdale area to help support the teaching team in a variety of support roles. This would be an excellent opportunity for anybody wishing to develop a career in the education sector and are seeking further experience, or anybody with previous experience in a support based role, working with young people.

  • Full time support role starting after Easter
  • Weekly pay of up to £350, dependent on experience

Working as a Teaching Assistant is a very rewarding role where every day will have different opportunities and challenges to overcome. You will be required to be very versatile to adapt to the needs of the school and the pupils on the day, whether you are supporting a pupil helping to raise attainment in your specialist subject area, working alongside a pupil close to exclusion and providing behaviour support, or working with a student with any other kind of additional SEMH, SEN or behavioural needs.

Our client school is a large, diverse, mixed secondary school in Rochdale with great links to the local community as well as an ever increasing reputation. The school are dedicated to developing successful learners, nurturing them into confident individuals and then supporting them through their journey into responsible citizens. The school is a short distance from Rochdale infirmary and close to major transport links from the city centre, including Rochdale railway station and Rochdale interchange.
