If so, Teaching Personnel may be able to find you your ideal role. We are currently recruiting learning support assistants to work within SEN schools in the Weymouth area. Each child has an individual education plan (IEP) that supports their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The schools support students with ASD, severe learning difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, speech, language and communication needs, SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties.

As a Learning support assistant / TA you will be required to:

  • Work 1:1 with students
  • Work with small groups
  • Supporting students experiencing difficulties in managing behaviour. Working closely with the SENCO and senior leaders
  • Helping to develop social skills and communication and providing feedback to SLT.

This position is subject to an enhanced child only DBS check and must be registered with the update Service before starting work.
