Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in the Tameside area from January.
This position will be a full-time role and it will begin as soon as you are cleared for work.
Throughout this role, you will earn a competitive salary between £385 and £450 per week.
If you have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, a support worker or if you have recently graduated from university and you are looking to gain experience before going onto Teacher Training, this will be an ideal role for you.
Throughout this role, you will be required to provide additional support to pupils who are currently not achieving in line with their attainment targets, or they have been identified as a disengaged pupil. You will be required to support the classroom teacher in managing the behaviour of these pupils and ensuring that they remain on task to gain a better understanding of the lessons provided. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to create actions plans to encourage an improved performance for the pupils.

As part of the Teaching Personnel registration process, you will be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references to cover the last two years of your working history. You will also be required to obtain a fully enhanced child work force DBS check to ensure that you do not have any criminal convictions that would prevent you from working within a secondary school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
