I am currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to work in our Pupil Referral Units in the Tameside area. We are looking for individuals to work on a supply basis, with the potential for permanent positions available in all of the settings we work with. The pupils within our client schools have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and display challenging behaviour, although the opportunity to build productive and positive relationships is there.

The perfect candidate for this role will have previous experience of working within a SEMH setting either through educational based experience, youth work, or working through a voluntary capacity. Holding relevant qualifications such as Team-Teach and/or experience using physical intervention is a desirable attribute.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
