Behaviour Teacher
Job description
Our partner secondary school in Gorton are looking for a fully qualified teacher to run their alternative provision centre after Easter. This is a full-time role that will be tasked with overseeing all students within the inclusion unit, ensuring that they are still making progress and remaining in the mainstream education system.
This is a full time post initially for the summer term with the potential to become permanent in September 2024. The working hours are 8:30am-4:00pm and pay will be inline with your scale point on the teachers salary. Students will demonstrate barriers to learning and behavioural difficulties so it’s essential that you have prior experience of working with students in this capacity.
Located in Gorton this school currently has around 800 students, with a large percentage eligible for free school meals and above national averages of students who have SEN. Located in the M18 post code the school is easily located from Manchester and surrounding areas via public transport or Hyde Road.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
