PPA Teacher
- Part-time role (0.4)
- £500-700 per week
- EYFS and KS1
The headteacher is looking for a strong reliable teacher to cover PPA time across EYFS and KS1. This part-time role offers flexible days to meet the needs of the successful candidate. Experience working in EYFS and KS1 is essential.
The school is located close to public transport links and is easily commutable. The number of pupils who have access to pupil premium is in line with the national average. The school is rated ‘GOOD’ in all areas by Ofsted.
This role is to begin from Easter however, the school are willing to wait for the right candidate. There is potential with this role to be long term and an opportunity could arise for a permanent post to come up.
Responsibilities will include:
- Planning for learning and progression in the subject agreed and for classes across the school
- Differentiating for the various needs of the pupils, and teaching accordingly
- Assessing, monitoring and recording progression
- Creating a safe and engaging learning environment
- Managing behaviour effectively
- Providing feedback to parents or carers, where necessary
- Undertaking continuous professional development
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
