A large mixed comprehensive Secondary school in Oldham currently wish to appoint a team of Teaching Assistants to join their support department at the earliest convenience. The school have openings for full time and part time Teaching Assistants and are happy to provide supportive work to fit around availability/education.

**It is essential that you have previous experience working with children and young people and are willing to partake in further CPD training to be considered for this position**

Our client Secondary school is larger than average with over 1,300 pupils on roll at present across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four. The school is set on two sites with large open areas for pupils to access throughout the school day for additional support.

The successful team of Teaching Assistants will work with identified pupils within these 'Inclusion Areas' alongside providing in class support. There will also be the opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher with pre-set work in order to build classroom management skills and behaviour strategies.

Located towards the East of Oldham town centre, our partner Secondary school can be reached via the A670 road. There are an abundance of public transportation links to the school via neighbouring areas Tameside, Milnrow and central Oldham.
