Autism Support assistant full-time role at a Primary school in Poole starting as soon as possible!

A local Primary school based in Poole, that Teaching Personnel work closely with are currently looking for a new member of support staff to join their team to support work across school, mainly working with Autism on a 1:1 basis starting ideally as soon as possible. You will work with different children during the week. Candidates applying for this role must be available full-time (school hours from 8:30am - 3:30pm) and must have recent and relevant experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis with Autism. This MUST be evidenced in your CV with applicable references. 

This 1:1 support assistant role will be working with a primary school rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in the Poole area. The school is located just a 15 minute drive from the Poole city centre and public transport services are constantly available. The school are looking for a support assistant who has had recent and relevant experience with Autistic children in the last 12 months and who has supported children on a 1:1 basis previously.

Autism training is desirable however, the school are willing to interview candidates who have experience only. 

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has Autism experience (ideally with children aged 4 - 6 years fo age) and who is looking for a full-time / permanent position. Interviews for this role will be taking place as soon as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
