Job Title: Primary Head Teacher

Exciting Opportunity: Head Teacher for Plymouth Cast in Wareham.

We are seeking an exceptional and visionary leader to take on the role of Head Teacher at a Plymouth Cast primary school in Wareham, starting in September.

The school is vibrant and forward-thinking with a commitment to providing an outstanding education for their students. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual who will inspire their team, engage their students, and drive the school to even greater heights.

As the Head Teacher, you will lead the school community, providing strategic direction and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care. You will promote an inclusive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of teachers and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement a compelling vision and strategic plan that aligns with the school's values and objectives.
  • Ensure the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community, promoting effective communication and partnership.
  • Implement and monitor robust systems for student achievement, progress, and well-being.
  • Manage the school's resources effectively, including budgets, facilities, and staff development.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds qualified teacher status and has a proven track record of successful leadership and management experience.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of educational best practices, current trends, and the ability to inspire innovative teaching and learning approaches.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Shows a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and the welfare of every student.
  • Possesses excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
