Job description

Teaching Personnel are in the process of recruiting a Behaviour Support Mentor/Teaching Assistant following a request from one of our client schools based in Christchurch. The school have highlighted that they would like to appoint a dedicated member of staff that is able to support identified students with a range of Behavioural needs.

  • Full-time position which is due to commence asap
  • Required to support the needs of individual identified students within the school
  • Competitive pay rates with expected earnings of around £1200 a month
  • Joining a highly experienced and supportive Pastoral team within the school
  • Progression opportunities available

What you will be doing as a Teaching Assistant working within our client secondary school;

  • Alleviating classroom pressures from the classroom teachers within the school
  • Have a positive affect on the engagement of identified students within class
  • Help to raise the attainment of the learners that you work with
  • Providing Literacy and Numeracy support to pupils.
