Full time and part time Teaching Assistants required for large Oldham Secondary school.

- Build experience whilst getting paid (up to £1200 per month)
Our partner Secondary school, located just outside of central Oldham are looking to expand their support team due to significantly increasing numbers of pupils attending the school this academic year. The school wish to appoint a team of full time, part time and flexible Teaching Assistants to work with pupils in lessons, during recreational times and to provide additional support to full time teaching staff.
The role of the Teaching Assistant will include but is not limited to:
- Working with identified pupils to ensure work is understood and behaviour is positive
- Supporting the class teacher by preparing resources and taking registers
- Covering lessons across all subjects in the absence of the class teacher (pre-set work)
- Reporting to the SEN Co-ordinator and Senior Leaders to ensure all progress is recorded
- Taking groups of students for additional support, and reading groups during recreational times.
Located on the outskirts of central Oldham, our partner Secondary school can be accessed via the M60 and the A670. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from Rochdale, Chadderton and Tameside.
