Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic individual seeking a rewarding role in Education? Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to work across multiple schools in the local area to support schools manage their internal absences.

As a cover supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a range of secondary schools, working on a flexible basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing classes in the absence of a teacher, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Administering and distributing class materials and resources.
  • Managing student behaviour, maintaining a positive and constructive atmosphere.
  • Monitoring students’ progress and providing support to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure consistency in teaching methods and curriculum.
  • Assisting with exam administration and invigilation, as required.
  • Liaising with teaching staff to address any concerns or issues that may arise during the course of the school day.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to challenging situations.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
