Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistant positions on behalf of a number of our key client secondary schools that are based in Wigan.

We wish to hear from graduates and aspiring teachers that wish to gain secondary school based experience immediately; supporting pupils that are aged between 11-16 and leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain immediate paid Teaching Assistant experience in a supportive secondary school that will ensure you have the opportunity to succeed and develop professionally during your time in school.

The role of a Teaching Assistant will include working with a range of students with a variety of special educational needs including social and communication difficulties, providing lesson cover where a teacher is absent and ensuring that students within mainstream lessons are well supported.

Teaching Assistants wishing to be considered for this opportunity will;
