A successful and innovative Secondary School in Portsmouth are looking for a suitable English specalist for February 2022 for the remainder of the academic year. 

The School are looking for a confident English Teacher who can teach key stage 3 and 4, and deliver engaging & informative lessons daily. As an ‘Good’ and leading Secondary School, they have very high expectations.

Experienced English Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator & Pastoral Responsibility. ETC's will be enrolled onto the Schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced DT & Food Technology Teachers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
  • Inspiring and motivating the younger generation, and bringing out their love for English Literature and Language
  • Teaching Food Technology to 4 & 5
  • February 2022 – July 2022 Full Time 
  • Salary negotiable dependant on skills, experience and previous pay scale

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have UK QTS
  • Experienced and NQTs are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to teach Engilsh to KS3 and 4
  • You must be passionate with a creative edge
  • Proven history of delivering ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ lessons
