The SENCO at a large Salford based Secondary school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their support department on a full time basis starting immediately.

The Secondary school is heavily oversubscribed with just over 1000 pupils currently on roll, aged 11-16. The school is situated on two grounds and boats access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. The successful Teaching Assistant will work with a range of pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 who have been identified to display challenging behaviour in school. These pupils will work in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to improve behaviour, motivation.

Salford is easily accessible via the M60 and the A580 (East Lancashire Road) as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also various public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
