A Bolton based Academy is seeking a graduate level teaching Assistant to join their support provisions from September 2019 on a full time basis initially for one term.

This smaller than average academy is based just outside the Farnworth region of Bolton has seen drastic positive changes under their newly restructured Senior Leadership Team.   • Full time Teaching Assistant required from September 2019.
  • Must hold a graduate level degree qualification to be considered. Any previous experience supporting young people within an Education capacity will be highly advantageous.
  • Access to outstanding CPD training programmes throughout the academic year.
  • Earn up to £325 per week.

The Teaching Assistant role will include:

Work alongside the class teacher to support pupils with their teaching and learning, across Key stages 3 & 4. The flexibility to support pupils in a range of subjects is essential, either 1:1 or small groups under the guidance of Senior Leadership. The role may also involve supporting pupils during the transition period for incoming year seven students and year 11 pupils in preparation for the GCSE Exams.

The school has just over 550 pupils enrolled aged 11-16 and can easily be accessed via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Wigan. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
