• Full-time and part-time flexible opportunities available from September 2019
• Opportunity to gain experience in a variety of Secondary schools across the area of Bury
• Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas
• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Aid students in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis when withdrawn from the classroom for extra support
• Earn up to £300 per week, depending on experience
• Previous or transferrable experience working within education desirable

Working as a Teaching Assistant in our client schools, responsibilities may include:

• Working with children who require additional support including students who may display challenging behaviour
• Promoting positive behaviour management
• Supporting the class teacher and covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher
• Working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis with identified pupils that require additional support within subjects such as English, Maths or Science
• Possibility of supporting students with learning difficulties and pupils who display challenging behaviour

To be considered for this role, potential candidates must hold experience working within an educational setting with children and young people or hold skills transferrable to working in a Secondary school.

Our client schools are located across Bury and can be accessed from all surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For candidates who do not have their own transportation, there are several links to public transportation from central Manchester and the areas surrounding Manchester.
