Bury based Teaching Assistant required on a full time basis from September 2019 or earlier for a mixed comprehensive Secondary school.

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a large Bury Secondary school to recruit a passionate Teaching Assistant to work within their support faculty across Key Stages 3 and 4.   • Full time Teaching Assistant, September 2019.
  • Previous experience working with young people within an Education capacity is essential to be considered.
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school.
  • Earn up to £70 per day.

This diverse secondary school has a higher than average rate of SEN alongside Pupil Premium, with just over 700 pupils on roll, aged 11-16, there is ongoing SEN training provided for all members of due to the high levels of identified pupils. You ca expect to join a devoted staff team, working under the guidance of senior leadership and the SEND team.

"We believe that well-trained and well informed staff is the building block of a successful happy inclusive school. SEND training for staff should be an ongoing programme to ensure that staffs are up to date with the latest developments in SEND and the SENCO is designing such a programme for the coming school year."

Bury can be easily accessed via the M60/M66 as well as the surrounding areas; Bolton, Rochdale, and Preston. The school also has various public transport options with links throughout Greater Manchester.
