A mixed mainstream secondary school is seeking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to start in September, to support both in class and in their alternative provision centre.

This Graduate Teaching Assistant role would see you working alongside both classroom teachers and the school’s dedicated support department, who are devoted to helping every student secure excellent progress. This full time Teaching Assistant role will see you undertaking gratifying work such as one-to-one support with key students, small group intervention and pastoral support working with pupils who have moderate learning and/or behavioural difficulties, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia and social emotional mental health challenges.
This role would be well suited to someone who has recently graduated and may be looking for a new challenge or to gain some valuable classroom experience to support a future teaching application.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
