  • Part time role supporting pupils with their Phonics, Reading, Numeracy and Literacy

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a caring, child centred individual with a passion to make a difference to the learning of young children. Due to our partnership with the Hexham and Newcastle Diocese we liaise with a number of Catholic schools within the North East. One of our client schools based in the rural area of Durham are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to work within their Reception and KS1 classes on a part time basis.

The candidate we are looking for must be flexible, experienced in working with children from 0-5 and are either level 2 or level 3 qualified. You must have experience with Letters and Sounds Phonics and be confident with the EYFS curriculum and also have a nurturing, child-centred approach.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
