Job description

Bury based Teaching assistant required on a full time basis from February 2019 for a dynamic Roman Catholic Secondary school till the end of the academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted graded 'Good' RC Secondary school, to recruit a passionate Teaching Assistant to join there welcoming school community. If you would like to be considered for this exciting opportunity then please see below for further information.

  • Full time Teaching Assistant required from February 2019.
  • Must have prior experience working with young people within an education capacity to be considered.
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' RC Secondary School.
  • Earn up to £1300 per month dependant upon experience.

This oversubscribed faith school has continued to create an atmosphere for outstanding teaching and learning throughout the last few years. The incoming Teaching Assistant can expect to join a resilient support team working under the guidance of the SENCO.

The responsibilities for the incoming Teaching Assistant will include;

  • Work 1:1, in small groups and on an intervention basis with identified pupils.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be approachable whether dealing with learners, parents or colleagues.
  • Required to share the schools passion and vision of helping each pupil achieve their full potential.

Bury can be easily accessed via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Rochdale and Salford. There are also a range of public transport options for those who do not drive, with links throughout Greater Manchester.
