A mixed comprehensive Secondary school located in the Eccles region of Salford, is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant with a passion for working with young people of all abilities, and the capacity to motivate pupils to achieve outstanding results.

Due to an increased demand for additional support across Key stages 3 and 4, the Headteacher and SENCO wish to employ an experienced post-holder, on a full time basis from October 2019 or earlier.

  • Teaching Assistant required from October 2019, or earlier.
  • Must have previous experience working with young people within a support capacity to be considered.
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school, located in the Eccles region of Salford.
  • Excellent location, easily accessible via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road).
  • Earn up to £325 per week.

The role for the successful Teaching Assistant will include completing a full academic year of PAID work, through 1:1 support; small group based intervention and or tutoring, along side delivering pre-planned lessons where required with full support provided.

Based in the Eccles region of Salford, this school has built up a strong reputation as a 'Good' school which is well respected throughout this region of Salford. With just over 700 pupils on roll aged 11-16, the school is easily accessible via the M60 and the A580 (East Lancashire Road) as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan.
