  • Must have previous experience working with young people within a support capacity to be considered.
  • Located just off the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road).
  • Earn up to £65 per day.

The incoming Teaching Assistant can expect to join a renowned Secondary school which has consistently implemented strategies to overcome challenges and improve pupil outcome. Having recently had a restructure within the Senior Leadership Team, the school are now seeking a resilient Teaching Assistant to work within their support provisions.

As the successful Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to;

  • Work within various department supporting pupils 1:1 or in small intervention groups and deliver pre-planned lessons with full guidance and support to identified pupils.
  • Take a flexible, empathetic and resilient approach to all pupils and promote good behaviour, relative to the school behaviour strategies.
  • Help support the class teacher in order to keep pupils engaged; bridging the gap between them and their peers.

Salford can be accessed via major motorway links including the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Trafford. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
