Teaching Assistant job - Putney

Job description

We are seeking a passionate, flexible teaching assistant to work in a special needs school based in the Putney area. This will be a full time role for a term in the first instance, working in a KS2 autism and complex needs class. Previous experience working with SEN will be of an advantage but not essential as training and development is provided, there are opportunities as school are part of a large multi site academy .The core attributes we are looking for would be that of someone who is pro active, resilient, can take initiative and has uplifting personality. The school value committed individuals so dependant on performance there is the potential for a permanent contract.

KS2 SEN teaching assistant:

  • Passionate to work with SEN
  • Previous SEN experience is of an advantage
  • Be able to support with nappy changing / toileting needs
  • Confident personality
  • Full time role - term time 8.30am - 4.15pm
  • Must be available for an immediate start
  • Able to commit to travel to Putney daily during school based hours
  • Lots of potential; for development and progression
