Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN primary and secondary school who are seeking a teaching assistant to support pupils with ASC, Learning Difficulties, SEMH and PMLD.

This is a lovely school with great staff support and the children are a joy to support. The school provide CPD courses for permanent staff. There is potential to because a permanent staff for successful candidates. Teaching Personnel provide CPD courses to registered candidates at a reduced cost.

The school is based in Brent, supporting SEN pupils to help raise attainment and enjoy a school based setting. The school is fully equipped with new and up to date technology to effectively support their pupils. There is a parking available in the area and on school site.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Child Workforce only DBS on the update service (or happy to apply for one)
  • Experience supporting SEN
  • Available to work Monday to Friday during school hours
  • Any training would be advantageous but not a requirement

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
