Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our staff team as a Teaching Assistant to work across Primary Key Stages 1 and 2 within classrooms between 0830 and 1530 daily, on a supply basis.

Experience of working with children is essential.

Experience of supporting SEN children is desirable.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We require the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 and as such shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a Disqualification Declaration. Any information supplied will be discussed at interview.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
