Teaching Personnel are looking for a committed and empathetic SEMH Support Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Thornton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
• Assist in implementing behaviour strategies and personalised learning plans.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external agencies.
• Encourage emotional resilience and positive behaviour.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs (school or care setting).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and adaptability in challenging situations.
• A genuine passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
