Teaching Assistant in Rotherham

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can work within the Rotherham area supporting all children. You will have to have excellent maths and English skills and be able to follow the curriculum offering support to whoever needs it. You will need to work with the teacher to ensure all students are reaching their fullest potential no matter what their ability and to use your own initiative. You will also need to be committed to promoting the schools safeguarding, behaviour and diversity policies. Safeguarding is paramount so having knowledge on this is a must.

You will also

• Be committed to contributing towards improving outcomes to all children.
• Be able to support children either within a small group or individually
• Have good presentation skills
• Be able to support on occasions children with special educational needs
• Read the planning before the day and help set up the activities set by the teacher.
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all children
• Maintain high levels of health and safety and raise concerns with senior members of staff and us here at Headline
• Understand the framework
• Work the schools hours of 8.15-3.15pm Monday to Friday (There may be some flexibility on the days)
• Keeping all information confidential
