Job description

⭐ Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Redhill Area)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until at least February Half Term (with potential to extend)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Redhill area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education who is looking to make a real difference in the classroom.

About the Role

  • Full-time position, Monday–Friday

  • Supporting students across KS3 and KS4

  • Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and small-group or 1:1 support

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Working with SEND pupils where needed

  • Start date: Immediate

  • Ongoing contract until at least February Half Term, with strong potential for extension

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (school-based or related settings)

  • Are confident, proactive, and patient

  • Have strong communication skills

  • Can build positive relationships with students and staff

  • Are reliable and ready to start quickly

  • (Desirable) Have experience supporting SEND or secondary-aged pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
